SAVE THE DATE: Endorsement meeting, Thursday 8/25

Mark your calendars for the endorsement meeting for the 2016 general election. We’re expecting to meet at the Chancellor Hotel. New members need to have joined by July 28 to be vote-eligible, with more relaxed rules applying to people who’ve been members in the last two years.

More details and a confirmation are forthcoming.

Pump up the volume

This election presents remarkable challenges and unpredictability in ways that haven’t been seen in a long time. The presumptive nominees are profoundly polarizing, each with a fervent core of backers and also with 40+% of the nation being detractors.

It will be critical to turn out voters for Clinton. We and all of the Democratic clubs across the City and across the nation need to lean on this, and with 70% of City voters being Democrats already, we and the City clubs need to think bigger.

Let’s get this thing done. Failure is not an option, and its name is Trump.
